Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 2026-11-05
This Acceptable Use Policy is part of the Terms of Service of FlowCall, provided by [company legal name not set]. It applies to you, your team, your agency clients and anyone who uses the Service through your account. Breaking it can lead to the suspension of agents, campaigns, phone numbers or the account.
1. Calls, messages and consent
You may only call or message people when the law allows it. In particular you must:
- have the consent the law requires before your agents call or message someone, especially for marketing and for automated, prerecorded or artificial-voice calls (for example under the US Telephone Consumer Protection Act and FCC rules, and EU and national rules on unsolicited communications), and be able to prove it;
- respect do-not-call and opt-out lists, stop calling anyone who asks you to, and honour opt-outs promptly;
- call only at the times the law allows in the recipient's time zone;
- say clearly who is calling and why, and, where required, that the caller is an AI agent;
- keep the recording notice switched on, or inform callers of recording in another lawful way, and get consent to record where the law requires it;
- show a real phone number that you are allowed to use as caller ID; never spoof numbers.
2. Things you must not do
- Robocall, spam or mass-dial people who have not agreed to it, or use purchased or scraped contact lists without a lawful basis.
- Deceive people: impersonate a person, a business or an authority; hide that a call is automated where the law requires disclosure; run scams, phishing or fraud; collect payment card details, passwords or one-time codes over a call.
- Clone or imitate the voice of a real person without their permission.
- Harass, threaten, bully or abuse anyone; promote violence, terrorism, self-harm or hatred against people for who they are.
- Produce sexual content involving minors in any form, or sexual content of any kind through the Service.
- Offer or promote illegal goods or services, gambling without the required licences, or regulated products (such as weapons, drugs or financial products) in breach of the law.
- Give medical, legal, financial or other professional advice through an agent, or use an agent for emergency services. Agents may take messages and book appointments for such businesses.
- Use agents to make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on people (for example about credit, employment, housing or insurance) without proper human review and the safeguards the law requires.
- Collect special categories of personal data (health, religion, sexual orientation and similar), children's data or identity documents unless the law allows it and you have taken the necessary measures.
- Infringe intellectual property, privacy or other rights, or upload content you have no right to use.
- Call premium-rate or emergency numbers, or use the Service to generate artificial traffic.
3. The Service itself
- Do not try to break, overload or get around the security, limits or safety rules of the Service (including outbound call limits and blocked number types).
- Do not access accounts, workspaces or data that are not yours, probe for vulnerabilities without our written permission, or use bots and scrapers on the Service.
- Do not try to find out, extract or misuse the AI models or technology providers behind the Service, or get around the minute metering.
- Do not upload malware or use the Service to attack other systems.
- Do not resell or share access beyond what your plan allows.
4. Reporting and enforcement
Report abuse, including calls from an agent you did not agree to receive, to [contact email for legal and privacy requests not set]. Give the number that called you and the time, so we can find the account. We may investigate, remove content, stop campaigns, release phone numbers from agents, suspend or close accounts, and cooperate with authorities. Where possible we warn you first and give you a chance to fix the problem, unless the risk is serious or the law requires us to act at once.
